Today was our second work session of the semester and we continued to make progress on a variety of projects. The valance over Niagara was spackled and sanded and is moving closer to completion. Under the layout vital wiring was added to ensure new switches provide stable performance. A club locomotive which had been scavenged for parts was repaired and returned to service, and in the process several club members learned just how a locomotive is converted to DCC. In Albion, work began removing old roads to fit the re-work of the scene (look for more of this in the coming weeks). All in all it was another productive work session, and one which we hope to build on through the rest of the semester.
